We are in the process of making some changes to The Empire. Nothing major. Just some adjustments to make the podcasts appear on a more regular schedule and MAYBE more frequently. We know we have a pretty bright audience so we wanted to ask you what you want to hear from The Empire. More anger? More rants? More guests? More music? Less Jim? More Ed? Find Charlie? Good mix of music and just talking. More random guests would be cool if you can get them. Its nice listening to you guys rant and rave but usually when you add someone else into the mix it just gets better.
I agree, love the rants, doesnt matter who is doing them. As for guests the more the merrier. And you need to have Dakin on so we can hear his side of the last several months.
I think you need the music when you do it live just to give you guys a break, but if you took it strictly to podcast only I can live without it.
haha yeah the anger and rants are just epic. I think i relayed the story of the driver re education, and jims story at fenway to just about everyone. and when charlie is on its hilarous too. I like listening to you guys talk, the music if fine but i usually grab the pod casts and skip past it, but i understand if you guys need a breather at times.
Anger, rants, and guests – keep ’em coming. Ed and Big Jim are a great combo. I listen to the podcast at work and people think I’m crazy as I keep laughing to myself.

The podcast with Ed, Charlie, and Jim was epic. The whole show was fantastic. Made me really wish there was a radio station out there with the intelligence to hire you all as a show. Although the swearing does make it better. I think it would be cool if you could bring back more of the interactive aspect with the people (phone, on-location). We need another Empire night out.
I’d like more rants about FNX, with an inside perspective on the hows and whys a perfectly good thing was ruined. Jim’s perspective is valuable in that he stuck around a while longer and saw the downfall more completely. Is there some kind of statute of limitations on when you can spill the beans on just how bad Tierney f’ed it up? What are their ratings like now–better, worse, no different?
I’m content just keep the pod casts coming. 😀
Don’t really care about the music… listen for the sole purpose of hearing you all talk. Love to hear you guys take some current event, either local or national, and rant about it. Perhaps a 1.5-2 hr show of Ed/Jim combination with some others here and there (Begley, Charlie, others?, etc.).
I listen to hear your angry rants and laugh along with you! So more Big Jim, more Ed, more Charlie, more random guests, etc… Music is less important, though a couple of the songs you’ve played have been great. I haven’t heard Wax Ecstatic in years!

Can’t you bunch of nerds get it together to broadcast from remote locations? I used to listen to a sports guys (who was awesome) broadcast from his law office, for chrissakes. And it sounded like he was in a studio. And this was 25 years ago.

Seriously, thanks for keeping it going guys. This must take a ton of your personal time and you should know that we truly appreciate the opportunity to laugh with you.
It isn’t so much a matter of location and equipment as it is getting the other idiots to show up. With everyone’s schedule being different it is tough to mesh them. Not to mention I am the only one that really cares about The People. Charlie and Jim are selfish egomaniacs.
